Dr. Zhang will be speaking at the Kartini Gala Luncheon, hosted by the Indonesian American Chamber of Commerce on April 5th, in hornor of Raden Adjeng Kartini, Indonesia’s national heroine and pioneer for girls education and women’s rights.

Dr. Zhang will be moderating a panel discussion after screening of the documentary written and directed by two-time Oscar winner Malcolm Clarke about the complexity of U.S-China on April 4th at the Rice University.
